Wolf, this is an amazing song. As a longtime Van Halen fan who grew up with them, being the same age, it's so awesome to see you come into your own with this heart and gut wrenching beautiful song. With your great vocals and music behind those words... seriously your best...and I've followed you since you were born, not in a creepy way, lol, just curious as to who you would become with such famous parents and the ridiculous pressure that is placed on their children. With this song, in my opinion, Wolfgang Van Halen just stepped out and showed everyone who HE is. I wish you all the best on your journey. I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved father. Peace, Elizabeth Bullins

Wolfgang! Beautiful and powerful song and great video - love how the guitar solo is in sync with the video of you and the guitar. Liked your interview with Howard, too, very humble dude, you are. We miss your dad dearly, but the music never stops and looking forward to hearing the whole album and seeing you on tour!

Man, this is making my eyes well up. Kid lost his pops, we lost a music icon. I'd say guitar icon, but Ed was way more. I met him in 2007, spent about 45 min with him and his now widow - as they sat at my table @ the Steak Joynt in Universal City. Meeting him had a profound effect on me, how cool & down to earth he was. Wolf music is good, radio friendly

The guitar solo "Cathedral" was the first guitar solo track that I ever listened to and I fell in love with it. There is something about Eddie Van Halen that you could describe as a "candle in the darkness," but it's brighter than the analogy. You can hear it in the major chords that Eddie set as the foundations for many of VHs better-known songs ("Standing on top of the World," "Shine On"). Wolfie, there is something very special that runs in your family and it needs to be shared with the world. You hold the torch. Keep making music and lifting us up. God bless you, your Mom, and Janie.

My stepfather passed 13 years ago of cancer. I wished to god my family kept footage in the way your family has. I have a few pictures of us here and there. I was 4 when I met rob. I was 14 when he passed. Doctors gave him 6 months. He lived 6 years. It was 6 years of torture for him, and for my mother and me. My mother was an rn, and she became his full time nurse. Seeing your husband dwindle took every bit of life out of my mother as cancer took from my step dad. I understand your pain Wolfgang... it does not become easier in time but the memories will become sweeter. Amazing song my brother

I can't stop listening to this song and watching the video. It makes me cry every time, the love between Wolfie and Eddie was extraordinary. I was never a concert goer, but I listened to videos on MTV, while I was caring for my husband, recovering from cancer surgeries and my newborn baby girl. This song and the audio at the end, your father sounds like he could be me or any layperson who loves their children so intently. I think this will help fans cope with the loss of your father, a loving father and musical genius. God bless you Wolfie.

I also lost my dad to cancer before I was 30. I also learned his professional skills from him (from a young age) and worked with him (although, obviously, not to the extent you did). My dad also died before I reached a professional milestone that was so important to the both of us. This was beautiful, and I'm blown away that you were able to do this in a month. I saw you twice in 2007 (and even caught your guitar pick once!), and the love and pride Eddie was radiating was so amazing. Thank you so much for sharing something so deeply personal.

I miss your father very much, he made a lot of the Dark days in my life become bare able and Happy. I hug my Son every time I watch this video. God bless you for making it. And, we love you Ed, you will live forever in all our minds and hearts.

Hey Wolfgang ! I just finished a silly mod project where I built a cavity to fit a Makita drill motor into a Squier Guitar so I can play Poundcake and fire up the drill sound at the touch of a button on my pickguard. I had to repaint the guitar in the Van Halen motif naturally. Been thinking of you and your dad the whole way. It's a fun beaten up Frankenstein guitar I have now. All the best to you !

I knew your dad and got the pleasure to hang out with him at The Huntington Beach Pier on weekends 'cause my wife used to sell Tie Dye Tee Shirts there. He was an epic dude and so down to earth...thanks for this video because I never go to see him with his family and it was a pleasure to see that side of him. You've picked up his gift of music ... I too am a musician and he gave me the honor of letting me play his acoustic guitar and bongs with him.. He's gonna be missed in my heart forever...Keep his legend going WVH...I like it... peace out my musical brother.
