The problem I see with all these electric vehicles is the environmental impact of the lithium iron in the battery’s. Where they get it from and where the waste / used ones go. If it’s a renewable source then it’s ok and if all the electric used to charge them is eco friendly green power like from wind or water turbine power plants it’s ok. I like what Elon Musk has done, just having automatic vehicles are crap for driver skill. So many bad drivers out there and can’t drive a manual gearbox car. I would consider an electric vehicle if the power and battery’s are green and it has a manual gearbox.

But exactly how are you going to find the magic infrastructure and the pure amounts of electric energy itself to charge them? Cool if you have 5% electric cars, but what about 50% 80%? Yes, I think you are crazy. I don’t think that is a question of technical possible or even financially viable. Elon is a capitalist, and together with shareholders they are in the game to make the most profit possible. They are focusing on producing and selling most 3 and Y in the coming years and also have the Cybertruck to worry about. They will not squeeze their profit margins by producing a cheaper model at this stage. My bet would be some kind of announcements of model 2 this years with production starting around 2023.
