Some of these dogs wear the pants in their family. Roll them onto their back and hold them for a few seconds if they act aggressively. Dogs can be a serious threat to someone otherwise. Humans need to stay alpha dog. It isn't cruel, it is safety. They will yelp even though they are not hurting. It is them surrendering to the alpha. Please do this to preserve a long, happy life with your dog. Dog bites can be very serious. The Rottweilers had me nervous. Save a human from serious injury, and a dog from being put down... win-win My exboyfriend was bitten by a dog at age 6 on the cheek. Skin grafting, plastic surgery, and 120+ days in the hospital... Traumatized for life. Does not trust dogs at age 40.

We might be tempted to dismiss angry puppy behavior like what we see here when it looks cute and adorable. But this is the time when we should put our feet down as handlers and nip it in the bud--before they become big and strong and truly dangerous. We don't want angry puppies growing up into angry adult dogs. It's a lot easier to condition a pup than to recondition a full-grown.
